We put a lot of attention into designing parts that are compatible with various cloning methods and deriving strategies that are as modular as possible, allowing for the swapping of different coding sequences from our small library of hydrophobins into the pET29 plasmid map. Therefore, we ensured that future teams and people in the broader community could use our part and easily make it compatible with their systems.
